LenMus 4.0

Lenmus is a freeware multi-language application that helps us learn Music. This excellent program gives Music students the opportunity to learn, listen, read, and practice from the very beginning.

It can also be used for anyone studying Music (children and adults alike) as a complementary learning program for further practicing. Lenmus has been recommended to children studying Music by their own teachers as an extra practice at home. Best of all, it is a lively program in continuous expansion with lots of new projects in the developer's mind that will be included in future releases. Lenmus 4.0 now features a useful introduction page from where we can access the different topics: learn what is new, learn and practice music theory with the eMusicBooks, create and edit music scores for different instruments with the new score editor, and open recent scores (Greensleeves, Chopin Prelude 20, and Beethoven Moonlight Sonata). The eMusicBooks are a collection of four eBooks: General exercises, Music reading - Level 1, Music reading - Level 2, and Theory and harmony. We can learn the lessons and practice the scored exercises that are quite similar to Flash cards (with correct answer if needed), and that range from Aural training exercises (interval's comparison) to Harmony (exercises on cadences) with theory exercises, music reading, in between, etc. We are free to go anywhere in the eBooks and learn at our own pace.
